The original tilma is not made by human hands and no known man-made pigments have been identified. In an effort to duplicate the tilma’s true colors, a special process has been used with over 50,000 shades of color. Each tilma is printed on Faux Henequen Synthetic Textile. This high-quality replica is the closest we have found to the original tilma.
